Taking Keypad Orders

The Keypad feature allows you to use the EPOS app like a traditional till which allows you to simply input the price and take payments.

1. Launch the App & Enable Keypad

  • Open the NOQ EPOS/Lite app.
  • Click on Device Settings > Functional Settings.
  • Under Terminal Settings, ensure Keypad is enabled.

  • Under Payment Types Keypad, ensure the accepted payment types are enabled.

  • Click the back arrow to return to the Pin Screen.
  • Enter your PIN or tap Skip (if set up) to proceed to the main menu.
  • Select Keypad from the top DDL (it may default to Counter).

2. Taking Payments

  • Enter the amount due for the transaction.
  • Choose the preferred payment method by selecting either Cash or Card.
  • Include a note if needed for additional context or instructions.
  • Press the Charge button to process the payment.

3. Send Receipts to Customer or Refund

  • Click on the Previous Order icon or button.

  • To process a refund, click on the Refund option. Please note that itemized refunds are not available for transactions made using the keypad.

  • Select the Email option to send a receipt directly to the customer.

  • Select the Print option to either send the order to the kitchen or to print a receipt for the customer.
