Stock Management Guide pt. 2: Adding Ingredients to Stock List + Creating Stock Count
This guide will walk you through the process of adding ingredients and adding a stock count.
Step 1: Adding Ingredients to the Master Stock List
- Navigate to Products > F&B Products > Master Stock List
- Select the Ingredients tab.

You can also Bulk Upload Ingredients to save you time! Please read our Bulk Uploading guide - Here!
Key Fields to Complete:
- Stock Category – This helps with reporting and filtering ingredients by category (e.g., spirits, vegetables, herbs).
- Stock Location – Select where your stock will be kept. As we have previously created a Stock Location, it will be selectable here. Once selected, the ingredient will automatically move to that location.
- Purchase Unit Type – Defines how the ingredient is purchased. If the suggested unit types don’t fit, you can create a custom unit.
- Suppliers - You can add more than one supplier if you often order the same product from multiple suppliers.
