Functional Settings (NOQ EPOS Lite)

How to find Functional Settings on the NOQ EPOS Lite app

1. Open the NOQ Lite app.
2. From the PIN screen, tap Device Settings or if already logged in, tap the Menu (three lines, top right) and select Device Settings.
3. From the Device Settings menu, select Functional Settings.

Functional Settings:

1. Terminal Screen Settings

• Enable/Disable Screens: Turn off any screen not in use by tapping the purple box to de-select.
• Prioritize Display Order: Use the Up or Down arrows to prioritize which Terminal will be the default
  
  

2. Keypad/Counter Payment Types

• Manage Payment Types: Disable any unused payment methods by tapping the purple box.
• Prioritize Payment Order: Arrange payment methods by popularity using the Up or Down arrows.
  
  

3. Counter Checkout Types

• Quick Checkout: Directs to the View Cart screen before payment.
• Super Quick Checkout: Immediately presents payment options (e.g., card or cash).
  
  
  
  
• Receipt Preferences:
  • No Receipts: No prompt to print a receipt after payment.
  • Receipt Pop-Up: Choose to print or email a receipt after payment.
  • Automatic Print: Automatically prints receipts post-payment.
  

4. Show Cash Calculator

• Enable Cash Calculator: Activate this feature to assist employees with calculating the correct change for cash transactions. Note that it will override receipt pop-ups.
  

5. View Preferences

• Grid View: Organizes items in a grid layout for easy selection.
  
  
• List View: Displays items in a traditional list format.
